It's been a whole year since I've posted anything on my blog!!! Shame on me!!! I love my family!! We have awesome days, crazy days, sick days, silly days, frustrating days, and that is what makes us who we are!!! My New Year's resolution is to enjoy what God puts in front of me. Embrace it. Love. And ENJOY every minute I have with my beautiful family!!

I will surround myself with people who are positive, and love the lord!!

I need to brag about the most important person in my life. Andy has lost over 40 pounds in this last year, and still losing. I am so proud of him, and so proud that he hasn't given up. We have been through a lot of stressful and amazing changes, and he still continues to stick with working out and eating well. It just proves that with support, and dedication it can be done. He is the most supportive husband, and the best father in the world. It is a team effort raising these beautiful girls we have, and they love their daddy. Thank you Andy for being you, and for always being here for us. You are our ROCK!!!

Well, going from one child to two is a huge adjustment!! I feel guilty sometimes because I feel like I'm not spending enough time with Ava. She has been so sweet to Neely, and gives her kisses all the time. Ava has just turned into this amazing, and very independent little girl. She talks in full sentences, and loves to read. Neely is growing really fast too. She is 7 weeks old, and still so little. I love to snuggle with her. God has given me the most precious two little girls in the world. And we are making the adjustment as best as we can. I feel like Andy and I do a good job of sharing time with both girls. I know that Ava is so ready for Neely to be able to play. They will be so cute together!! Thank you God for a wonderful family!!!

Well, we would like to welcome Miss Neely Adele Kight into this world. She was born August 20th @ 1:06 p.m. She was 6 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 inches long. Neely is a great baby and Ava is a very proud BIG SISTER!!! I am so blessed with a wonderful family, and Andy has now entered the girly world. He can fix hair and he is awesome at the diaper changes. I don't know what I would do without him. I am so happy to have two beautiful little girls. I love them so much!! Here are some pictures of Neely when she was brand new!!

Getting Caught Up....

Okay, so I'm going to overload you with pictures!! I have been so far behind on posting blogs so I thought that I would get caught up in one post. I bought a new camera a few months ago, and I'm still learning how to use it. Ava was being funny one day and I was practicing on her.

This was her cute Mother's Day shirt. I had a wonderful Mother's day and I have the best family ever.

Ava is now in a Big Girl bed, and I must say she is doing great!! We keep adding cute stuff to the room. I'm so glad that she likes to sleep in it!!

She goes to gymnastics once a week, and WOW does she LOVE it!! That is all she talks about starting on Monday. These little 2 year olds are so adorable, and what a great teacher to have so much patience with them.

Swimming is her next love of the summer!! She has no fear of the water, and will jump right in. Swimming lessons will be on the list next year so she can get rid of those floaties.

Happy Father's Day to the best daddy ever!! We had a very nice and relaxing father's day. Watched golf, took a nap, and cooked a yummy lunch!! Ava loves her daddy so much....

My family got to come see us this weekend, and we had such a good time. Mom and dad took the kiddos to the zoo, and they had a blast. Aunt Erica also joined in on the fun too. Ava doesn't get to see her cousins that much so she was so excited when they came in on Thursday!! I'm so thankful that mom loves to take these kids out to have fun. She took Ava shopping one day, and then took the kids to the zoo and splash pad in O-Town. Ava was so tired after the exciting weekend. Here are some pictures from the zoo.

Well, Zoo season has begun!! Ava and I love the Zoo, and lucky for us Grams got us a Zoo pass for her birthday. It's so fun, and every time we go it's a different adventure. She is just growing up so fast, and I'm loving this age. She is too fun, and at the same time a handful. I love you Ava Bentley!!!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend!! So much fun dying eggs with Ava this year. We made a huge mess in the kitchen, but it was totally worth it. And Grams came over early to help with lunch, and to spoil Ava. They have a great time together.

Okay, so wow what a weekend for a birthday party. I have learned not to ever plan for anything outside because it will snow 8". We had to move the party to Sunday, and I have great family and friends that did not mind the change at all. Lucky for me that Ava is only 2, and did not know the difference. As for me... my hormones got the best of me and had a break-down Saturday afternoon because I was so upset to have to change it. My mom always says that stuff like this always makes for a good story later. Ava's birthday ended up being great, and she had a wonderful time!!

We all had a great time playing in the snow, and I'm glad my family from Texas got to witness some of this crazy Oklahoma weather. Snowing all day one day, and beautiful sunshine and 60 degrees the next.

Gymnastics....

Well, Nana and I took Ava to her 1st gymnastics class tonight. She was so cute!! I had it in my mind that she would cry when I took her in there. Oh, wow was I wrong. She looked at the teacher, and the teacher said, "Do you want to go jump"? She never looked back!! She jumped, stretched, walked on a balance beam, climbed a wall, and had a full 50 minutes of pure FUN!!

I am going to dedicate this week to my precious little Ava. She will be turning 2 on Friday, and it's amazing how she has changed our lives!! I love this girl so much, and she seems to make Andy and I laugh on a daily basis. From how she repeats everything we say to running around naked shaking her little bootie!! She can sing half of her ABC's, sing the Barney song, gives the best kisses in the world, and do you see this girl stunt. Thank you to Aunt Ashley for taking this awesome picture.

One of my best friends came over this weekend with her sweet twins!! They are almost 5 months old, and growing so fast. It was so fun getting to take some pictures of them. And I have to brag on what a great mom Robbi is. She loves these babies so much, and has such great patience with them. I admire her so much!! Aren't they precious....

Great Wolf Lodge.....

We went to the Great Wolf Lodge this past weekend for my nephews birthday, and had an AMAZING time. If you don't know what the Great Wolf Lodge is- here is a run down. It's a beautiful hotel that has an indoor water park. It has an outdoor lodge feel, and it gives kids an opportunity to learn about nature. Ava was like a little fish out there!! She had so much fun, and I have no words to describe the smile on her face or joy in her eyes. She has no fear of the water, and she was in her own little world. She taught other kids twice her age to go down the water slide backwards. She was so fun to watch, and you will be able to tell with these pictures my mom took. Thanks mom!!!

Well, we are very excited to announce that Ava is going to be a "Big Sister." I am now 3 months pregnant, and due at the end of August. I'm actually looking forward to the summer pregnancy. I will wear flip-flops all the time, and I will live in my neighbors pool. Get ready girls, here comes the whale!! LOL!!

To answer everyone's question on: Have you been sick? The answer is: YES!!! Haven't felt good in 2 months, and this is the worse part about being pregnant. I don't think I have ever been this lazy in my life. I know Andy is ready for me to get my energy back. And running to the nearest place that has a trash can or sink to gag or puck. GROSS!! AND....I already have a little belly. YES...ALREADY!!

Well, I will keep you posted on everything, and hopefully we will find out what we are having soon!! OH, and the T-shirt that Ava has on is how we told the family that I was pregnant. They were so shocked. It was awesome!!

I'm just going to tell you the truth, and say that I have been so lazy. I haven't posted a blog in almost a month. I wanted to share some Christmas pictures. Ava had such a blast, and Santa Claus brought her a new kitchen to play with. She has enjoyed cooking for me and Andy.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and thank you for visiting my blog!! I left you with some of my favorite pictures of Ava this Christmas season. She is talking so much, and just having so much fun!! I am so excited about Santa Claus this year!! Every time Ava sees a Santa she says "HO HO HO." I love it because I am very big on having family traditions, and I love everything about Christmas!!

She had a BLAST making gingerbread ornaments with Nana, and her cousins. They were so into it!!

I was lucky enough to have my whole family here for Thanksgiving. We had great food, looked at the Black Friday ads, and the kids played. My sister and I were one of the crazy people at "TOYS R US" on Friday morning @ 5:00 a.m. I haven't been up that early since Ava was a tiny baby. The line wrapped all the way around the building, and as we are standing in line we are asking ourselves "What in the hell are we doing?" The trip was worth it because we got what we went for!!!

One of the highlights of the weekend was going to Dry Gulch for the Christmas Train. There was a chill in the air so it felt like Christmas. It was so neat!! We got to hear the Christmas Story, the kids got pictures with Santa, and the hot chocolate kept us warm. AWESOME!! I highly recommend going if you live in the Tulsa area.

Homework.....

I'm trying to get caught up on my blog. I have been slacking. I've had family in, and super busy with Christmas stuff. I thought this picture was pretty cool, and it was for my homework a couple of weeks ago. I took it in downtown Tulsa, and the weather was beautiful that day. This church is so pretty, and has the coolest red doors on it.

Well, I have started part II of my photography journey. Our class is going to be great. It's a small class, and my friend Dawn is in it with me. We met in my first class, and found out that she lives in Owasso, and knows the Kight family.
So, in our first class we went out in the windy cold weather, and took pictures down in Tulsa. It was AWESOME!! We learned so much the first night, and these pictures were taken without a flash!! I thought they turned out pretty good!! I'm so excited to learn more.....

Well, I'm going to overload you with pictures. We had such an exciting Halloween this year, and Ava was a ladybug. Isn't she just so cute in this outfit!?!

Nana brought Ava this pumpkin so that they could carve it together. She kept trying to pick it up, and look how she finally started carrying it. I think she takes after her father in strength.

If this pumpkin were a stuffed animal, she would carry it with her all the time. She kept giving him kisses. It was so cute!!

Nana let her get her hands all down in the pumpkin, and Ava was picking the seeds out one at a time. I definitely have a little girl on my hands.

First of all, I love trick-or-treating in my neighborhood. It is so awesome, and our neighbors are so great!!

Okay, so us crazy women pile on this golf cart, and take off to go trick-or-treating. What great fun to have Grams and Nana to go with us. Grams hooked us up with all of the glow bracelets, and necklaces. We set off to the first house, and by the third house Ava was a pro. Her little basket around her arm, and prancing to the door. Someone would lean down to say how cute she was, and Ava would start taking candy, and putting it in her bag. She really had so much fun, and so did we watching her as she pranced around!! The weather was perfect, and I was feeling like a kid again too. I just love this time of year!!

Look at these cuties!! We got to hang out with the family the other night, and the cousins had so much fun playing together. Little Wyatt was very interested in Ava. And we all started laughing so hard when Tate and Lane laid down on the floor and put their feet in the air. Ava had to jump right in to copy them. She was just doing everything they were. It was so funny!! I'm sure Ava will be tough hanging out with all of these BOYS, and I'm sure these BOYS will take good care of her when she gets older!!

Well, I know that fall is here because my windows are open, and there is a chill in the air. I love this beautiful weather!! And I love taking pictures in a pumpkin patch!!
Right when we got there Ava started saying "pumpkin". And she had to test out several of the pumpkins by sitting on them. Too funny!! I was so excited because Grandma Gwen got to go with us. She is the special woman who keeps Ava everyday. I thank God everyday for Grandma Gwen.

Okay, so the older we get, the closer we are!! I love these girls, and we have such a good time when we get together. It's amazing how different we are, but yet look how much we look alike!!

Mandy who is the tallest, and oldest has two beautiful boys. Her husband works very hard, and makes me laugh quite often. She is a wonderful mom, and would do anything for anybody!! I think she is so pretty, and I want to thank her for always being there for me!

Erica, who is five years younger, just started her new career path. Her and her husband just bought a beautiful new house, and they are busy decorating it!! She is a great Aunt to all of the kids, and they love her so much. She is such a hard worker, and very laid back at the same time. Thank you for being you!!

I'm so excited!! One of my BEST FRIENDS (Robbi) is having TWINS, yes I said TWINS any day now!! We had a baby shower for her a couple of weeks ago, and she has received some awesome gifts. These babies are going to be so LOVED. I love you Robbi, and I can not wait to hold these bundles of joy. Oh, and she is having a boy and a girl.

These two little girls give me and my friend Jodi a run for our money!! We took them to the zoo, and we had a great time!! It was funny because if Brooklyn got out of the stroller, then Ava had to get out. If Ava was eating, then Brooklyn wanted to eat. It was so funny!! Jodi and I just laughed the whole time. What a BLAST!! Thanks Jodi and Brooklyn for hanging out with us.

Well, I made it through my photography class. It was so much fun, and I met some wonderful people. It has been over for at least two weeks, but I have been so busy I haven't posted anything. I need to get caught up!! Hopefully, I will take the next class in Oct., and get more creative.
Our last lesson was on lighting, and we got to play around with some AWESOME equipment!! I would love to have something like this set up in my house. Won't happen way too much $$...
Thank you for a great teacher, and fun classmates. It made the class excellent!!

Hurricane IKE Weekend!!

Okay, so while everyone from Texas was headed up north....... We headed down south to Athens, TX for my High School 10 year reunion!! Yes, we were crazy! I graduated from a tiny town called Malakoff, and graduated with 57 people. So here comes hurricane Ike to try and spoil the fun. Luckily the wind was not as bad as predicted!! Although, it did rain close to 4 inches on Saturday, we had a great time!!

On Saturday, since it was raining so hard, the family took advantage of some good quality FAMILY TIME!! We played on the Wii (which my little nephew Zane is so competitive). We laughed so hard at each other, and had so much fun!! Even my dad got in on the action. I woke up with my arms sore the next day.

Nana read books to the grandkids. Aren't they so cute!!

I'm so glad that we got to spend the weekend together. We always have an eventful few days, and we come back 10 pounds heavier due to my mom's great cooking!! My family is the best, and I'm so thankful for them!! Love you guys!!!

Miss Cleo

Miss Cleo is my very first dog that I bought all on my own!! I bought her 7 years ago, and she is my baby. Cleo is a puli. They can be seen on the dog shows! And yes those are dreadlocks that you see. She is very protective, and is great with Ava. I have another Puli, and his name is Doc. I couldn't get a good picture of him, so maybe you can see him some other time!!

We are very proud to say that we are Oklahoma State fans!! Andy and I both cheered in college, and have already started to train the little one. A family friend bought Ava her first cheerleading uniform, and it is so cute on her!! Right when I put it on her she was dancing around. She was so funny!! 3 things to talk about...THE ZOO, FISH AQUARIUM, and OUTDOOR KITCHEN!! We are so excited that our outdoor kitchen is finally complete. We love to entertain, and this new space is just what we have been wanting. This new grill is massive, and Andy is pumped about grilling some yummy food on it!!
Ava and I have been busy playing!! Within the last week, we have been to the zoo, and fish aquarium. She loves the zoo, and we have SO much fun looking at all of the animals. The fish aquarium is beautiful, but I think she is still too young for it right now. She did however get to touch a stingray. CRAZY!!! I was to scared to touch it, but she was just laughing.

I really am enjoying this age!! She is learning so much, and she is so curious!!

Everything that I have learned in my class goes out the window, and I just start snapping. Needless to say.....I think she is the cutest little girl in the world!!

So I just started my first photography class, and I'm so excited about it!! Andy and I just got back from Scottsdale, AZ, and it was beautiful. These are the pictures that I took for my homework. I hope to take photoshop next, and learn many more tricks. So here's me giving it a SHOT!!
